Cattlemen, left to right, Fred Wimberly and Ward Mooring, of Bryan, Texas, new owners of a herd of 103 registered Hereford cattle. Dr. A. J. Wimberly, who founded the herd a number of years ago, has been operating it in connection with his son, Fred Wimberly. The Wimberly Hereford Farm in Sweetwater, Texas, specializes in furnishing foundation breeding stock for cattlemen in East Texas. Fred Wimberly will have charge of the herd and devote all his time to the breeding and showing of the cattle. Mooring owns 3,600 acres of very fertile land along the Brazos River. He gorws feeds and has decided to put in registered Herefords for used of foundation breeding stock instead of putting commercial cattle. Both men are wearing suits, coats, and hats. Mr. Wimberly is holding a cigarette.
