Description
Midland, Texas, is preparing to host their 1940 Rodeo. The west Texas citizens are going the extra mile for the modern entertainment event. Mrs. Harry Talbert is a member of a pioneer cattle family. She joined the ticket sales committee when the 1940 rodeo was in the planning stage. She and the other committee members worked tirelessly to make sure the show drew a record crowd. Mrs. Talbert is sitting behind a desk, dressed in a polka-dot blouse and a blazer.
