Crew of Lucky Lady II, a B-50 Superfortress that became the first airplane to circle the world nonstop. Its 1949 journey, assisted by in-flight refueling, lasted 94 hours and 1 minute. Kneeling are Staff Sergeant Robert G. Davis, Technical Sergeant Virgil Young, Technical Sergeant Burgess Cantrell and Staff Sergeant Robert McLeroy. Standing: 1st Lieutenant Roland Bonner, Technical Sergeant Melvin Davis, Amon G. Carter, Jr., J. Earl Schaefer, 1st. Lieutenant Earl Rigor, Captain J. G. Gallagher, Captain James Morris, Captain Glenn Hacker, Captain David Parmelee and Staff Sergeant Donald Traugh.
