Description
The Texas Chess Association is holding a chess tournament at the Hotel Texas. Members are left to right, Gordon Webb and James P. Bell. They are examining two of the major trophies that will be awarded to the winners of the tournament. The large trophy is the donation of N. D. Naman and the small is the gift of O. W. Manney. Mr. Webb is the secretary of the association. He is dressed in a double breasted suit and smoking a cigarette. Mr. Bell, president of the association, is sitting at a table with a chess board. He is wearing a suit with a pocket square.
