There is an unidentified man beside him who he is looking at. The man is holding a spade above the ground while another man in military uniform stands beside him with his spade dug in the sand. Two of the men are wearing suits and ties with hats and overcoats while the other man is in his military uniform. There are other unidentified people in the background holding spades and having conversations.
