Image shows right, Howard W. Joyner, head of NTAC's Art Department, discussing a painting with Delbert Herron, Dallas, left. The painting reminds Herron of the times he spent on a destroyer escort in the Navy. The painting, in center, is a self- portrait of his time in the Navy. In center, Russell L. Winn, Lubbock, is an art major and an ex-military. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 16,1948.
