Claude Kedy of Carswell Air Force Base attempts to dribble through Ben Carroll (left) and Al Close of Convair, leaving teammate Charlie McGinnis behind. Consolidated won game, 61-55 and city recreation championship. There are other unidentified players on the court. Some of the players are wearing t shirts and shorts while some of them are shirtless. The tip of the basketball net is to hanging down from the top in the picture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 9, 1948.
