Members of the E. M. Daggett Junior High School city basket ball title-winning team bask before the camera. Left to right, they are: (front row) Wesley Puckett, Paul Wright, Charles Feree and Meto Metiff; (top row) Bill Baird, Charles Steel, Billy Patton, Coach Roy C. Johnson, Billy Cozzens and Jack Hall. The picture is taking outside on the pavement and in the background is a pavilion with brick support pillars. The players are wearing their jerseys, pop socks with sneakers and knee pads while their coach has a short sleeve shirt with a whistle on his neck. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 2, 1948.
