Description
Richard O'Neal, leaping high, and Bobby Davis, left of Meadowbrook throw cordon around Nelson Stubblefield of Atomic Midgets, with ball as kids battle for city 12-and-under title at Recreation gym. Meadowbrook won, 16-15. There are other unidentified players on the court. The game was played by children under 12. Some of the kids are wearing shorts and a vest while some are shirtless. In the background, there are divided-lite windows and the basketball net, to the left of the photo hanging from the backboard. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 29, 1948.
