Texas Christian University (TCU) vs. Texas Agricultural & Mechanical University (TAMU) basketball game with Don Volding and Nolan Weeks. In the picture TAMU's Volding (30) and TCU's Weeks (7) battle to reach ball on a Saturday night's game at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. TCU won the game 46-41. There are other unidentified players on the court and all players are wearing their school's jersey, sock with sneakers and some players have knee pads. In the background is the audience watching and the basketball net to the left of the picture hanging from the backboard. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 23, 1948.
