Description
Paschal High School vs. Polytechnic High School basketball game with Aubrey Phillips, Bill Davis, Tommy Taylor, and Luther Scarborough. In the picture, Paschal's Phillips (15) hugs the ball against his head while he tries to evade Poly's Davis (5) and Scarborough (3). Polytechnic High School won the game 49-36. All the players are wearing their school's jersey, socks with sneakers, and knee pads. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 15, 1948.
