Joe Burdette, Arlington Heights High School basketball player leads his team into the playoff game with Polytechnic High School. The picture, taken from a birds-eye view, Burdette has is eyes fixed on the net. Holding a basketball with his hands raised high while he stands on the court in front of the net about to make a basket. He is wearing Jersey number 11, socks and sneakers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 28, 1948.
