Texas Wesleyan College basketball players were accompanied by their girlfriends at the train station about to depart for a 19-day tour of the east. They are walking through the station in two rows, with the girlfriends next to them. The individuals are (front row, from left) Richard Cozad, Jimmie Williams, Douglas Higgins, and Ysleta Leissner, (back row, from left) Guinn Phillips, Jurene Lasiter and Jim Stroud and unidentified girl. They are dressed casually with the men wearing cowboy hats and boots, stripped shirts and jacket while the women have their dresses with coats and flat shoes.They all smile as they pose for the photograph.
