Description

Baylor University vs. Texas Christian University (TCU) basketball game with Don Heathington, Nolan Weeks and Julius Dolnics. In the picture , Baylor's Heathington (15) has his left hand stretched out in front of Dolnics (21) trying to reach for the Ball while Dolnics has his two hands raised in the air with a scrunched up face. TCU's Weeks (36) uses his right hand and places it under Heathington's left arm in an attempt to stop him from getting the ball. There are other players on the court. All players are wearing their respective school jerseys, socks, sneakers,and some have knee pads. The Baylor Bears won, 52-48. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 21, 1948.
