Luther Scarborough Junior, Polytechnic High School basketball player in action shot. Luther is the chief hope of the Poly Parrots in the city cage race opening. In the picture Scarborough is holding a basketball on the court with both hands while jumping in the air. He is wearing jersey number 35 with knee pads and a pair of pop socks with his sneakers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 4, 1948.
