Description
Fort Worth firemen, sleeping in their fire station bunk beds. Front to back, Firemen Barbour, Bounds, Winthrow and Boone. The beds are made of iron. A set of towels sits on the head of each bed. Each fireman is covered by a blanket. The floor is tile. The beds are facing away from windows that do not have shades on them. Boots and bunker pants are beside the beds while shirts over the foot of the beds. This photograph was published in the February 4, 1940 edition of the Star-Telegram.
