    Description

The Forest Park Zoo celebrated the birthday of their elephant, "Queen Tut" and offered free cake to anyone who attended the party. Judge Gilmer of Corporation Court, was the master of ceremonies. He is holding the sugar elephant that topped the birthday cake. The topper was auctioned off to the highest bidder, G. W. Outenreath. The ornament brought $2.50 to the baby elephant fund. Judge Gilmer is standing in front of a microphone, dressed in a tweed suit. Behind him is the cake made by Joe Vasquez, Hotel Texas pastry chef.
