    Description

Model planes, lifted from the ground by tiny motors no larger than a tea cup, will zoom and glide near the Z Boaz Municipal Golf Course all day Sunday as the Fort Worth Gas Model Association stages its annual free exhibition. The three youths are discussing the relative merits of their ships, which are the smallest to be entered (spark plug in the motors is smaller than the head of a match). Left to right, L. E. Sloan, vice president of the association; Jack Russell, and Carroll Curtice. The three young mean are kneeling down holding their model airplanes. Star-Telegram Evening Edition August 15, 1940
