Description
Four members of the public affairs committee of the Fort Worth Busniess and Professional Women'd Club are shown starting their self-appointed task of cleaning up a vacant lot in the 900 block of Macon. They are left to right, Mrs. Josephine Prichard, Mrs. Happy Shelton Wood, Mrs. Berta Womack, chairman of the special cleanup squad, and Mrs. Katherine Maloney. They are clearing tall grasses and cutting shrubs down. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 1, 1945.
