Description
These two kept a four-year-old date Wednesday when Associate Justice Brown, of the Second Court of Civil Appeals, left, administered the attorney's oath to Police Sergeant Joe Warren Rice. They made the date when Rice, then a traffic policeman, began studying law at night in 1936. He received his license last week. The two stand in front of several shelves filled with volume of "South Western Reporter."
