Description

Joan of Arc, before donning her armor. Martha Turner, 16, who will represent the French heroine in the Recreation Department Circus Tuesday night at Farrington Field, is shown here as she appeared in a bathing suit when she won the role by placing first in the department's annual health and beauty contest last week. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Turner, 2700 Scott Avenue. She is seen standing on a table modeling a bathing suit with a huge bow on the left side, and with bows in her hair.
