    Description

    Decatur fifth-graders swarmed over Forest Park Thursday in happy abandon. It was "Decatur Day" at the zoo. Participants (left to right) John Paul Jones, 11, Miss Bell Ford, teacher, and Mrs. Dorrell Jones, John Paul's mother, all of Decatur, Texas. Miss Ford is shown with two generations of her pupils. She also taught Mrs. Dorrell Jones, John's mother. Mrs. Jones made the zoo trip with Miss Ford 33 years ago. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition April 04, 1947.
