Description

Tex C. Sanford of Texas Christian University, has the distinction of being the first official entrant into the Fort Worth District Golden Gloves tournament. He is an eighteen year old lightweight. He gained experience in the merchant marines, where he won two championships. Stanford is demonstrating his fighting stance with his gloves up and his elbows tucked into his body.
