Tarrant County draft registrant Gerald Ray Baker (left) and Mrs. Doris Rice, clerk. Baker is shown standing next to Mrs. Rice as she sits at a desk and hands him his newly issued draft card. It was the last card to be issued in Tarrant County, Texas. Sitting on top of Mrs. Rice's desk is a typewriter. She is wearing a gingham-printed suit jacket with a lace blouse underneath while Baker simply wears a short-sleeve shirt tucked into a pair of trousers. The duo is smiling.
