J. D. McEachern, floating to ground in a parachute after jumping from a crippled XB- 36 bomber. In the picture, there is a view of vast land and in a distance, a parachute is seen towards the right. There is also, a car and paved road in the background. McEachern is assistant flight engineer. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 27, 1947.
