Description
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Morriss with their six month old son, Danny Jay Morriss are pictured here. In the picture, Danny is seated in his crib while his father holds his hand and is seated on a chair. The mother stands to the right of the crib resting on it with her body. She smiles as she watches the father and son interaction. Mr. Morriss is wearing a shirt and tie with pants, Danny is wearing onesies , and Mrs. Joy Morris is wearing a vertically stripped knee length dress with short sleeves. Mr. Moriss has a prosthetic in his right hand. Danny will receive a $5000 educational trust fund when he turns 18. The fund was contributed by admirers to the father Elmer Morriss, severely wounded in the Battle of the Bulge. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 26, 1947.
