    A view of Backstage meeting during the wait for the presentation of Madame Butterfly in Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. From left to right, are, Carlos Pani, Mexico City, Manager of the Mexico National Opera; Mrs. Pani, and Walter Herbert, conductor of Madame Butterfly and musical director of the New Orleans Opera House Association. In the picture Mrs Pani stands in between both men with her hands wrapped around their arms as she poses and smiles at the camera. The two men look at each other and smile. Mr. Herbert is wearing a tuxedo while Mrs. Pani has a fur coat over her dress and Mr. Pani is wearing a suit and tie while holding a coat in his hands. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 25, 1947.
