Viewing a map of Texas Highway are (from left) Texas State Highway Commissioner Fred Wemple, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce Director Galen H. McKinney, Federal Judge T. Whitfield Davidson, State Highway Engineer D. C. Greer and Charles G. Cotten, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce highway department manager. In the picture, Judge Davidson his holding a 10 year old map while Wemple points out 10,000 miles of roads that have been paved since then. The men are all dressed in suits and tie, Cotten his holding a hat in his left hand. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 25, 1947.
