    Leads in the opera "Madama Butterfly" sponsored by the Fort Worth Civic Opera Association are shown (from left), Tomiko Kanazawa, Melvin Dacus and Gabor Carelli. In the picture, Kanazawa is dressed in a Japanese kimono and is holding a hand fan in her right hand and smiling while she kneels close to Carelli, who is seated on a chair dressed in a navy uniform. Dacus stands behind the both of them wearing a suit and tie. They are all dressed in their characters outfits. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition March 24, 1947.
