She has won numerous prizes in cowgirls sponsor contests and is very much a part of the Southwest rodeos. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. U. D. Sawyer. She is wearing a blouse, trousers, cowgirl hat and cowgirl boots. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition September 1, 1940.
