Texas National Guard maneuvers in Louisiana. Soldiers at Third Army Maneuvers of the 36th Division, Texas National Guard, reading up on what's going on back home. On the left is Lieutenant Ed C. Moore Junior of Troop F. Next to him is Major Charles K. Davis, commanding officer Headquarters, Second Squadron. Both are of the 124th Cavalry, Mineral Wells, Texas. The two are seen smoking cigars and reading a Fort Worth Star-Telegram newspaper outside of a tent.
