Fern Sawyer, Crossroads, New Mexico, riding her horse in an open field. She has won numerous prizes in cowgirls sponsor contests and is very much a part of the Southwest rodeos. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. U. D. Sawyer. She is wearing a blouse, trousers, cowgirl hat and cowgirl boots.
