    Description

Two United States Marshals are shown celebrating the capture of a wanted fugitive. Pictured left to right are J. R. "Red" Wright and George Vice. The fugitive (not pictured) is thirty-seven year old Leonard James Therrell. He was serving a robbery sentence in California when he escaped in 1940. Therrell and another suspect held-up a liquor store in Fort Worth, Texas, Wednesday night. A fingerprint established the identity of the fugitive. The Marshals are shown renewing an old friendship as Marshal Vice awaits transfer of the prisoner to Florida. Marshal Wright of Fort Worth, Texas, is dressed in a double breasted suit. Marshal Vice, of San Francisco, California, is wearing a three-piece pinstripe suit.
