Description

Murl Menge is an ill child at the Lena Pope Home. Doctors worried that Murl was the victim of leukemia, but have recently diagnosed her with a rare, but less serious disease - lymphocytosis. She is preparing from a visit with the home's "Mother", Lena Pope. Murl is shown sitting atop a dresser, talking on the telephone. She is wearing a long shirt, shorts, and slippers. Her baby doll is sitting beside her.
