Description
Murl Menge is a young girl at the Lena Pope Home. She is shown with her nurse, Maxine Filkins. Doctors worried that Murl was the victim of leukemia, but have recently diagnosed her with a rare, but less serious disease - lymphocytosis. Nurse Filkins is brushing the young girls hair in preparation of a visit with "Mother", Lena Pope. Murl is wearing a long shirt and shorts. She is standing on a chair, holding a baby doll.
