Four Junior High School students in Fort Worth, Texas have been selected for the American Legion Citizenship Award. the award is an engraved medal given for leadership, honor, character, courage, service, and scholarship. Representing Amon Carter Riverside Junior High School, left to right, are Anne Blanton and Karl Schlegel. Anne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Blanton. She is wearing a button-up blouse, skirt, and a wide belt. Karl is the son of Mr. and Mrs. K. U. Schlegel. He is dressed in a collared shirt and an argyle sweater vest.
