Mrs. L. G. Stogner is president of the Penelope Club. In December of 1945, Mrs. Stogner prepared a speech on "The American Home", which she presented to the Fort Worth Federation of Women's Clubs. Since the initial presentation, she has given the speech nineteen times to various organizations. Mrs. Stogner was raised in Plainview, Texas, after her family moved from Mississippi in the 1890's. She is the youngest of five children and was named Lacy Dalton, after her father Lacy W. Dalton. Mrs. Stogner has been married twenty-seven years to an independent oil operator. She is shown sitting on a chair, reading a magazine. She is wearing a dark dress.
