Captain John R. Beneventi is an officer in the United States Army. He is joining the Army Recruiting Service in Fort Worth, Texas, as a public relations officer. Captain Beneventi joined the service in 1941 after graduating from Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas (A & M). The 27-year-old is a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge. He served with a parachute infantry unit. The Mingus, Texas, native currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and their four-year-old daughter. Captain Beneventi is shown standing beside an American flag. He is dressed in his military uniform.
