Mrs. Nora Lally is celebrating her 90th birthday on Tuesday, January 21, 1947, at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. The Saint Patrick's Club is throwing a party in her honor. Mrs. Lally, formerly Hanley, was born in 1857 in Staffordshire, England. She made the voyage to America alone at the age of 23. She settled in Ohio where she earned money to bring her family to America. In 1900 she married Edward Lally, a steel worker in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Lally is pictured wearing a dark, polka-dot dress with a lacy collar.
