Description
Fort Worth, Texas, Mayor Roscoe L. Carnrike (left) and City Secretary E. S. Birdsong are signing $2,000,000 worth of bonds. The bonds will be exchanged for cash that will improve airports, streets, parks, and recreation facilities. The bonds will also add new livestock buildings to the Will Rogers Memorial Grounds. The bonds were taken by the Fort Worth National Bank and associates last month. Mayor Carnrike is dressed in a striped collared shirt, necktie, and a vest. Secretary Birdsong is wearing a dress shirt and a necktie.
