    Description

    Reverend Joseph I. Patterson, left, pastor of Meadowbrook Methodist Church, and Gene Ruthledge are unloading scrap paper from the back of a truck. The scrap was collected by the Noble Benton Memorial Fund committee for their drive to fund the building of the church. Mr. Ruthledge is wearing a brimmed hat, a dark suit and a pair of eyeglasses while Reverend Patterson is wearing a buttoned up light jacket and a brimmed hat, as well. They hold a stack of scrap paper between them with a large pile of scrap remains on the back of the truck.
