Description
Doctor B. W. Nies suicide at Lake Worth. Tommy Ballard (center) and his brother, Chic, who found body of Doctor W. B. Nies. Justice L. C. Fowler of Lake Worth is on the left. The two brothers are shown sitting on the front step of their house while Fowler kneels beside them. Fowler writes down the boys's statements on a notepad in his lap as they recall finding Nies's body frozen in an ice sheet. The boys are dressed in checkered coats and hats while Foweler wears a suit and coat with a brimmed hat. Tommy is also holding a dog in his lap.
