Description
Elevated roadway on the Fort Worth-Dallas Highway over Village Creek. Rapidly nearing completion is the State Highway Department's $300,000 solution to the Village Creek "mudhole" on the Fort Worth-Dallas Pike. This view of the elevated roadway shows its height compared with the present four -lane traffic artery. Also shown is one of the bridges designed to handle the creek's flash floods which have inundated the highway and stopped traffic flow in the past.
