He is smiling at the camera. Marvin is a Polytechnic High School football player. He was burned on his face, eyes, legs, and hands in the explosion at a stand where he was selling fireworks. Marvin is expected to recover but may lose sight in one or both his eyes. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin D. Padgett.
