Description
Texas National Guard maneuvers in Louisiana. "Halt, who goes there?" seems to be the command as these three members of the Thirty-sixth Division halt a newspaper correspondent and photographer. Left to right are Lieutenant T. C. Wood and Lieutenant Earl E. Turner, both of Bonham, Texas and Private D. P. Kirk of Hillsboro, Texas. All three men are seen standing with intimidating looks as Private Kirk holds a rifle and points toward the camera.
