The trio of mothers are shown standing around a table covered in boxes of candy for patients at the hospital. Mrs. Rahr is holding up a card given to her by Mrs. Black which is to be attached to 100 pounds of popcorn she donated. On the table is also a poster that has reads, "Gold Star Mothers", and a has a star in the middle. The women are wearing long-sleeved dresses with small name tags and hats. Mrs. Black and Mrs. Boydstun are also wearing eyeglasses.
