The Highland Park High School football team is preparing for an upcoming semifinal battle Saturday in Odessa, Texas. The Scots are meeting the Odessa Bronchos for berth to the 1946 Texas State Championship game. Lineman George Maddox (left) is having his foot wrapped by line coach G. B. Morris before the game. Odessa went on to win the match-up and the state title.
