Texas National Guard maneuvers in Louisiana. Here the payroll for Company I, One Hundred and Forty-second Infantry, one of the units taking part in Third Army maneuvers in Louisiana, is being made up by Captain H. E. Angus (left) and Sergeant F. H. Plumley (right), both of Ranger, Texas. The center man was not identified. The men are sitting in a tent. Captain H. E. Angus is seen holding a pen and Sergeant F. H. Plumley is seen working at a typewriter. There is a clipboard with various papers attached on the table between the men.
