Description

Gilbert Stotler is an eleven-year old runaway from Des Moines, Iowa. He fast-talked railroad conductors into a free ride to Fort Worth, Texas over the weekend. Gilbert was picked up and is being held by county juvenile officers. Shortly before noon Monday, he escaped. Gilbert is shown sitting on a desk chair. He is dressed in a dirty, tattered sweatshirt and jeans. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition December 9, 1946.
