The Odessa High School football team is preparing for the upcoming quarterfinals game against the Wichita Falls Coyotes, Saturday. The Bronchos are unbeaten on the season and hope to continue their dominance. One of the Bronchos star player is Harvey "Pug" Gabrel. He is an all-state running back and linebacker for Odessa. Gabrel is pictured running the ball during practice. He is wearing a football uniform, number 20. The Odessa Bronchos went on to win the 1946 Texas State Championship.
